Let’s Get Intimate…. For A Dinner Party That Is.
If you follow us on Instagram, it probably seems like we are everywhere and constantly on the go. Well, that’s not a lie, but we do it for a reason. We genuinely love connecting with people. We love going out to events and connecting with other entrepreneurs and creatives. Making personal connections over coffee, lunch or happy hour is something we genuinely enjoy. We are so grateful to the many vendors and friends who support us unconditionally and who we have the pleasure of working with on a consistent basis. So in Southern fashion (though we aren’t Southern at all), we wanted to show our thanks through food.
A few weeks ago, we hosted an intimate dinner party at The Brigantine in Del Mar for some of our the vendors who have become friends. In general, we love dinner parties, because food is always a good topic of conversation. Though, we also love intimate dinner parties, because you actually get to connect. You get to have real conversations and hear one another speak across the table. It’s a time to reconnect and genuinely each other’s company. Plus, when fish tacos are on the menu, you never say no.
Oh did we mention that we had a long table set up in the garden area? We had the perfect view of the Del Mar coastline and Del Mar Racetrack. The weather was typical San Diego and everyone was dressed in Garden Party attire. The menu consisted of roasted brussels sprouts, crispy calamari, and fish tacos. We wanted to keep it simple, but delicious so the connection was the most important aspect. Though the finishing touch was a gorgeous cake made by Milly’s Fine Cakes. Banana Salted Caramel with homemade buttercream that just melts in your mouth? Yes please!
We had such a great time at this dinner party, that we are definitely thinking of throwing more soon. If you would like to be part of the fun, sign up below for first-hand access to all events we are part of.
